Intersecting Creativity with Commercial Strategy
My approach to apparel balances pure creativity with commercial reality. Earning a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design alongside three Associate degrees in Studio Arts, Fashion Design & Technology and Fashion Merchandising gave me a 360-degree perspective of the industry. I treat design as a systemic process where garment construction, aesthetic appeal and retail strategy seamlessly work together.
Today I bring that background to my role as an Assistant Fashion Designer at Hyfve shaping the young contemporary wholesale market. I specialize in conceptualizing high-volume silhouettes that balance trend-forward design with strict affordability parameters. Designing for major retail buyers like Express, Fashion Nova and Burlington requires a sharp eye for what the market wants and the technical knowledge to produce it cost-effectively without sacrificing style.
